flea market finds...

Last Sunday i was in my element...mingling with 4000 other 1950s enthusiasts at the 16th annual 50s Fair at Seidler house in Sydney.

It was my first time there and it definitely won't be my last!

I arranged to meet up with Liz whom i've known for the last couple of years thru blogging but never met face-to-face. 

What FUN we had!!.

OMGosh it was a blast!!!

 
Liz spoilt me with LOTS of delightful vintage goodies...

she made this GORGEOUS button bouquet..isn't she clever!

she knows how much i LOVE vintage buttons & sewing bits & bobs :)

 

i LOVE the 'vintage' birthday card too...

 

and aren't these cookie cutters & 'willow' baking tray just the BEST :)!!

and

these delicious vintage sheet fat quarters...LOVE 'em!!

take a look at the treasures i just HAD to take home with me...

 a 'willow' cake tin with handles..LOVE that 50s green!!

i couldn't resist these sweet suspenders...

and these half price patterns & buttons...

 

 

BUT

my favourite purchase was a goose neck lamp in prisitine 50s condition...

i LOVE it!!!
