The arrival of a little 'surprise' package on Thursday, was the perfect start to a new month.
I have been patiently awaiting the safe arrival of this tiny treasure, so you can imagine my excitement as i opened the box.
A thick roll of bubble wrap concealed the precious contents within..
but on closer inspection.. look... a pair of tiny feet peeping through.. how cute!
and here she is..
my sweet little Miss Tansy... ssooo tiny & ssooo perfect.
don't you just love her outfit, complete with tiny shoes & look at that adorable little pinny with a tiny scissor chatelaine.. the scissors actually do work.. very cute!!
and from behind..
a close-up of her darling little bonnet and ribbon in her silky hair.. not to mention the tiny amethyst necklace... adorable!!
Kathy's attention to each & every minute detail, is truly amazing.
She carves these tiny jointed dolls from wood that grows on her property, in Ontario, Canada.. not only that.. she also painstakingly, hand sews each & every piece of their tiny garments, using only the finest antique cottons & silk fabrics.
Each doll is unique, and so too are the outfits... simply gorgeous!!
here's Miss Tansy and my other sweet little Sliver Sister, Pin'elope Pinkeep.
ohhh i do LOVE my darling little Sliver Sisters..
their unique little faces always make me smile :)))
being the start of a new month means it's time for another SQ challenge.
This month it's one of Kathy's free patterns.. a sweet little nine-patch doll quilt.
i think i'll make a mini version of this little nine-patch doll quilt, in yummy purples & black prints, especially for Miss Tansy :)))
