Nice work on your DJ blocks--very precise. But then, they have to be, don't they? : )
Your sampler quilt is looking really good. So vintage!
Oh, love the little basket blocks. Just made a bunch of those myself.
Congrats on being published in my favorite magazine!! Can't wait to see more.

Congratulations, Marian!

Primitive Quilts & Projects is my favorite magazine and everyone at Homespun Media is a pleasure to work with. I can't wait to see your project. I'm sure it'll be as lovely as all your other work!

I'm just finishing up a project for their Winter 2016 issue. Too bad we couldn't be in the same issue together.

Mary

What a wonderful selection of projects. I love them all. Congratulations on being published.

Congratulations. Summer 2017 is a long time to wait. Your sneak peek is tantalizing and are counting on your readers having a barrel full of patience. That's okay. You are showing us your cute-as-pie baskets and the Skrap Basket Sampler which evokes so much interest: - pattern blocks, fabric, and your (how-does-she-do-it?) color combining. Beautiful. And I appreciate your links and reviews. You certainly are industriously artistic. It is fun to be a recipient of your enthusiasm.

So many beautiful things your sharing! You are certainly busy, in a good and productive way:)You must be over the moon with excitement to be publishing a sweet little quilt for Primitive Quilts an projects! I sure am:) Sure wish it wasn't so long of a wait, it certainly will be worth it though. Each of your basket block set blocks are so sweet, I haven't begun mine yet, but soon.

Marian, I'm so happy!!! I received two of your basket blocks in the swap. They are perfect!! Once again a lovely read and it will be hard to wait so long to see your quilt in the magazine but I guess I will just have to. I love your little dolly quilt you made for me for our little swap and you know it's hanging in my sewing room so I can see it every day!!! Thanks so much!!

Each scarf is unique and handwoven on a loom using traditional weaving techniques. I combine hand dyed Australian yarn with specialty yarns (eg silk, mohair, lycra, fine copper wire, chenille, alpaca) to create distinctive tonal and textural variations.....
