A very wise quilter suggested I add sashes to my Dear Jane blocks as I made them. Am I ever glad that she did?? I'm not nearly finished but each block I've made has sashes--some are sewn into rows already. Good luck and keep going. I agree, "finished is better than perfect."

My heart goes pitter patter when I see your Dear Jane blocks. You are getting so close to a beautiful ending......at least for the quilt top.

You're doing brilliantly Marian.....keep going!!

Marian you are doing a perfect job on your Dear Jane. Such a huge accomplishment and understandably there will be times that are less pleasant than others but you have so much more to be proud of than not. Keep it up dear friend, your journey has been wonderful to view from my eyes:0 <3

My Woven Scarves...

Each scarf is unique and handwoven on a loom using traditional weaving techniques. I combine hand dyed Australian yarn with specialty yarns (eg silk, mohair, lycra, fine copper wire, chenille, alpaca) to create distinctive tonal and textural variations.....
